Embody Your Life

Hi, Dear Friends,

I can’t believe we are in the final days of 2021. As I pause and lean back into this past year, I feel a new sense of courage that has developed from these ever-changing times. I can’t help but think of a quote from Brené Brown, “Courage the original definition of courage, when it first came into the English language-it’s from the Latin word, cor, meaning heart- and the original definition was to tell the story of who you are with your whole heart.” I feel so much warmth in my heart and deep love from the collective in every cell of my body. I envision that they are holding ALL of us as we navigate a new world, as we tell the story of who we are with our whole hearts.  Sprouts of newfound courage are blossoming from my heart. How about you?

In this evolving world, I sense that the work of pre and perinatal psychology is crucial to our ability to thrive. What better place to begin than at the beginning? How would our world improve if we changed the ways we welcome and support birth? We know from Wendy Anne McCarty, PhD. that our earliest experiences become architects for our growing brains- are we growing in safety or fear? I recently listened to a host of speakers at a pre and perinatal conference and was again reminded that clinging to the old won’t work. We must be fierce visionaries and bridge builders into the collective future. (I’m working behind the scenes on some new online programs for individuals and corporations. I will share them with you in the New Year).

I imagine we scoop up lessons from our past, noticing where we have grown, how our hearts have been cracked open, how we have survived and even thrived amid the unspeakable happenings of our lives. May these lessons become a beacon that illuminates the new path before us. The adventure is ours for the taking, dear friends. May we have the courage to say YES. May we have the willingness to be a beginner. May we consciously create a life that we love. May we ask for and lean into support.

As we get ready to cross the threshold into a new year, what thoughts are you bringing with you? Do they support the life you want to create for yourself? Who would you be if you no longer had these thoughts? Instead of living on recycled memory, what might happen if you dared to lean into the creative wishes and the desires of your heart? What is present and waiting to be discovered within you?

I hope that the final days of this year offer you a space to unpack your heart so that you can authentically embody your life. May the torch of inspiration be re-ignited within you. May you trust your magic. May you ask for layers of supportive love. May you embrace the gloriousness of your unique light. May you have the courage to build your bridge, to tell the story of who you are with your WHOLE heart! I can’t wait to see you cross this threshold and emerge lighter and freer.

Go get your blessings!
Big Love,
